Description
For sale is my 1972 Land Rover Series 3 Safari Station Wagon. The car has recently been resprayed in the original limestone colour and comes with a new Exmoor canvas soft top and the original Safari roof.
During my ownership the following work has been carried out:
New brake pads all round
New battery
New doors and galvanised door tops
New tailgate
New starter motor
New brake master cylinder
New galvanised Exmoor roof hoops
New door seals front and back
New Exmoor canvas top
New front seat belts
The car also benefits from a recent service including oils and filters.
As you can see from the photos previous to my ownership the car was featured on The Antiques Road Trip among other shows and advertisements.
The engine has been replaced with a 2. 5 diesel which provides significantly more torque and power over the original engine. The gearbox is original and came from factory with the desirable Fairey overdrive.
The interior maintains a great patina with 4 folding rear seats.
