Triumph Spitfire 1500
This car was last on the road in 1989 and has been dry stored for the last fifteen years but this could be longer looking at its general condition .
The vehicle will require full recommission and m. o. t. work , but the engine is running with good oil pressure , coolant present in the engine etc . The mileage of 88573 is believed to be correct.
The bodywork is generally sound , but with some older repairs , there is some welding required , but not major , we have tried to show all the corroded areas in the images .
Both hard and soft top are included with the car , It also benefits from an overdrive gearbox.
The car is mostly complete, but does require some interior parts , these mainly being the seats and the carpet.
Currently no V5 , but the registration mark seems to be on the DVLA database.
We are selling the car for a relative , but happy to answer any questions ,
We feel that the car would provide a good starting point for a straight forward winter project .
The car will require a trailer to collect , but delivery is available if required subject to negotiation .
