The bodywork is presentable, with a deep colour and good gloss. After a professional polish by our workshop on the orbital polisher, we noted paint defects and colour fading. The front bumper shows a scuff mark on the passenger side. The front bumper guards in PVC are in very good condition despite a scuff mark on the right side. The chromed mirrors show small traces of oxidation. This example is fitted with the “hard-top” option, which today is a rare and sought-after accessory. The soft top in black leather look is in very good condition. It is easy to fit and its seal remains in line with period standards. The four 13’’ Grey steel wheels are in very good condition. This example rides on four Continental tyres with 40% tread front and 25% tread at the rear. The boot lock in black colour is in excellent condition. The original spare wheel is present in the boot, as is its jack. Among the notable exterior equipment and options on this example we note: the hard-top and the boot lock (luggage compartment) feature. Interior: The black leather-look upholstery is in good condition, with no wear or fading. The black leather-look door cards and the central armrest are in good original condition. The original wooden dashboard is in excellent condition, with no cracks, splits or varnish faults. The black leather-look dashboard top is in good condition, without cracks or crazing. The entire original SMITHS instrument panel is fully functional. This example is equipped with a functional original radio. The wooden 3-spoke steering wheel and the bakelite gear knob match in good condition. The black carpets and black over mats are also in good condition, with no unusual fading or wear marks.
