Produced on 5 October 1996 and was assigned to the official dealer Auto König in Munich. First owner Ralf Erich Waldmann former 250GP champion in the 1990s. The Lotus Elise was introduced in May 1996 with serial number 0017. It is the very first series and is the 56th out of 96 cars, the seventh out of 17 Norfolk Mustard coloured cars and the fourth out of 7 Norfolk Mustard coloured cars with anthracite fabric trim. The Norfolk Mustard colour was the third most popular of the 10 different colours used on the 1996 left-hand drive Elise.
