In summary, this car is in great, original condition, completely unmodified. I've taken photographs of all the common rust-prone areas of these cars, and you’ll see there is no rot, only surface rust. This surface rust has been cleaned and treated with zinc paint and ACF-50, a clear underbody protection coating for added durability.

When it comes to rust, here’s my perspective:

Surface Rust: Light rust on the surface of the metal. The underlying metal remains solid and strong. This type of rust is easy to clean or treat.
Rot: A more serious issue where rust eats through the metal, creating holes or weakening the structure. This would require replacing the affected metal (e. g., welding).
This car only has surface rust, which is cosmetic and manageable. There is no rot.

With a Ford Puma, what truly matters is the condition of the structure and hidden areas—not minor supermarket scratches or dents. These are fantastic driver’s cars, but they are now over 20 years old.

During my ownership, this car has only been used on dry days. It’s in excellent shape and ready to be enjoyed. Unfortunately, I don’t have the time to address the cosmetic touches. I’ve simply enjoyed owning it and admiring its good looks.

Cosmetic costs are something for the new owner to consider. These cars are steadily increasing in value, and finding another in such honest condition is extremely difficult. Many have been welded, modified, or heavily tinkered with for track days. If you’re looking for a “bargain bucket,” there are plenty of options out there—this is not one of them.

Price:
Offers over £1, 500 will be considered. I’m in no rush to sell, so low offers will not be entertained.

If you’re interested, I’m open to discussing a deal if my other Puma is sold alongside this one, though I admit finding another enthusiast willing to take on two Pumas might be unlikely!

Inspection:
I strongly recommend a personal inspection to ensure the car meets your expectations. Sold as seen, with no warranties or guarantees given or implied.
