First registered 12/ 02/ 1991 by Saab Piccadilly Ltd, 77 Piccadilly London, where it was a demonstrator. Then in July 1991 sold to the first owner via Saab City Ltd in Wapping, London.
Electric windows front and back, fully functioning.
Factory spec tinted glass which, against the white paint and black trim, is really stylish.

Engine runs well and stays cool
New radiator and thermo switch, water pump, whole exhaust from manifold back and new front shock absorbers in my ownership.
The usual rust issues are present, but they are not serious. Small hole at bottom of both front doors. On two of the wheel arches, which have been treated with rust killer, primed and touched up, and the arch trims replaced. The odd rust scab here and there, but not serious. The only bit of corrosion that I can see that looks like it should be dealt with soon is rust on nearside, bottom arch, where it meets the sill, but I am told (at the last MOT) that this is not an issue. But I would attend to it soon, if I was keeping it, just in case.
Last MOT advised on two front tyres, minor exhaust leak and rear brake pads showing signs of wear.
It failed on a steering rack gaiter, which was replaced, after which it passed.
The petrol warning light stays on all of the time (always has) but the fuel gauge is accurate. I assume the fuel sender is stuck.
This is a daily driver, so the mileage will increase while the advert is up, and it is also being advertised elsewhere. Comes with the original blue Saab wallet, all brochures and manuals, original delivery sheet for first owner, City Saab, all MOTS and some garage invoices.
If the price is right I will include the following spares: new genuine Saab a old stock whip aerial, a Saab rubber aerofoil, as currently fitted, a Saab steel cage partition which stops luggage or dogs joining you in the front seats (it fits into the slots for the rear head rests), a spare cable for the windscreen wiper system and a purple tinted Perspex sun visor / wind deflector that fits on the leading edge of the sunroof opening. These are all very rare extras and are worth at least £300 in total. By negotiation, depending on sale price.
This is our 5th Saab (and probably our last) and we will be very sad to see it go. We've been to the French Alps, the South of France, Italy and Morocco in it on family holidays and it's been a pleasure, and gets admiring looks wherever we go. It is not a pristine car, it's not a pampered classic either and we use it every day. It could be "restored" to original condition with not much effort if that's what you're into, but we used it for what it is - a strong, comfortable car with loads of understated style and a massive boot!
