Here Advertised is our 1970 Volkswagen T2 Bay-window Campervan in two tone blue and white color combination. This VW Camper underwent a rebuild 10+ years ago with the previous owners, which included a respray, interior re-trim and extra upgrades making it more suitable for modern day use. The Volkswagen is in fantastic condition inside and out and has been garaged ever since its rebuild.
On the inside of the camper there are lights, fridge, Uk style plug sockets which all run off of a leisure battery which is re-charged when the engine is running. The kitchen area features a good sized sink, which runs from a 10 litre water container under the sink. Also in the kitchen area is a 2 ring gas hob running from a small BBQ type gas cylinder which stores away underneath the sink too. The dining table inside, is detachable and can be moved out the way when not needed.
The VW has seat belts in the front and a modern Kenwood radio, with speakers in the front door cards. The previous owner opted for a vintage style wooden steering wheel in the front, which does suit the camper very much so.
Mechanically wise, there are no problems, the engine starts and runs very well, everything works as it should. She has covered 59, 467 Miles in its time and has been very well looked after. I highly recommend a viewing, as the photos really don't show how lovely this bay-window camper is. Feel free to ask me any questions.
