Good, well maintained example of this popular modern classic BMW sportscar. This is the 2. 5i version of the Z4 with approximately 200BHP and a 5-speed manual gearbox, in metallic blue and black electrically operated hood.
It's quite a high spec car for its time, with full electric seats, switchable sports mode, powerful heated electric seats and mirrors, auto dipping rear view mirror, 17" alloy wheels, etc. Factory parking sensors are fitted.
I've owned this for about a year, and had the alloy wheels refurbished, fitted 4 new high quality Continental tyres, and had a full engine service (oil & filter, coolant, spark plugs, air filter, brake fluid). It has also had all new front and rear brake discs and pads, front track control arms and Bilstein rear shock absorbers. Long MOT with no advisories.
The hood works fine, with the motor relocated to the boot, and the interior is very good with only light wear. The paint is also generally pretty good, with just a few light parking 'dinks'. The underbonnet is very clean with no leaks that I can see. It's not mint but is still in great condition for a 23 year old sportscar, and very presentable. This is car is huge fun to drive. It feels really eager, especially in sports mode, and has superb handling thanks to all the new parts I have had fitted. The engine sounds lovely and the gearbox is slick but positive. I'm only selling as I've bought a newer, more powerful Z4 but actually this still holds its own in the fun stakes!
