Very reluctantly putting my Beetle, Beryl, up for sale as an opportunity to buy something else has come up and I don't have space for three vehicles.
She's a 1200 Beetle, has been serviced every year for the past three years I've owned her, and had a gearbox service last May. Last service was the end of February 25. I have a big list of work she's had done in my ownership which I can send on request. Some recent new parts include powder coated spring plates, new uprated headlights, new starter motor, new battery with 4 year guarantee, genuine Solex carb (fully rebuilt), etc.
Has been lowered 2. 5 inches all round (on standard spring plates and sway-a-ways so can be put back to standard if desired), with new ceramic coated Porsche gas burner wheels. Custom cream interior with body coloured blue piping, and matching cream interior mirror.
She does get driven so the paintwork is not 100% perfect, there are stone chips here and there and the odd bit of surface rust as expected for a nearly 50 year old car. However overall she is very presentable, she won Best VW Beetle at Tatton Passion for Power show a few years ago.
Car is located in Macclesfield, Cheshire however I am regularly near Blackburn in Lancashire at the weekends so viewing can be arranged there.
