Long mot and ready to drive or show. Manufactured 1994
First registered 1997, and on 'MNT' registration number since new.

Mr P Bushe 1997-2013 : average mileage 1, 370 miles per annum
Mrs J Brookes 2013 - 2022 : average mileage 230 miles per annum
Mrs Brookes was already an elderly lady when she aquired the car in 2013 at around 26000 miles. Over the next 9 years Minty had VERY little use. Unfortunately Mrs Brookes was unable to get much use from the car and it lay unused and untouched in driveway for the last 4-5 years of her life.
On her passing, the car was given a full engine service by a friend of the family to get running and was otherwise untouched - complete with moss, mildew, spiders webs, and more ! - until Mrs Brookes nephew (a friend) contacted me. On inspection, despite already having 2 cars I could see it was a lovely little car and couldnt resist ! - therefore aquired by myself in early 2022 !!
Since then I have completed a sympathetic recommissioning inside and out including extensive deep cleaning (and more cleaning) & polishing, freeing mechanical parts, some refreshing or replacing brightwork, trims, perished parts, bulbs & fuses, new tyres, exhaust repair. Precautionary flushing of coolant system and change of water pump, and alternator.
I am a mini enthusiast having owned over a dozen, and Minty is one of three cars that I currently own. Unfortunately I cant keep them all !, and have therefore decided it is time for someone else to take Minty forward.
The 1275 engine runs beautifully, quiet and responsive, and has been 100% reliable - one of the last of the carb engines, which is simple to maintain and without complicated injection or electronics to go wrong l! I would happily drive her on any roadtrip !!
Obviously at 30 years old there are a few dings and signs of use which can be improved on, and plenty of mechanical areas which can still be updated - the sky is the limit with regards how far the next owner can take this car.
With long MOT She is ready to go for trips or to shows without doing any work if thats what you want - she looks LOVELY and gets a lot of attention - Im sure the next owner will love using, improving, and creating the next chapter for Minty !
