Nice solid car which is a pleasure to drive and ready to enjoy. Prior to advertising I took it to Tamar Valley Motoring Centre to rectify all known faults which included wipers, washers, heater blower, N/ S dip beam, o/ s sidelight, speedo and overdrive. These were all sorted with new parts as necessary plus whilst there issues with the exhaust were rectified and new fuel pump installed. New plugs and carbs adjusted. Bills to prove
Points to note:
The car had been fitted with an Ivor Searle engine just before I bought it in 2006 so the engine has done nowhere near the 82k on the clock
Correct front grill for the year. (Quite rare to see)
Overriders have been done away with for a cleaner look.
Electronic distributer
Minilite -style wheels with new tyres a couple of years ago but little mileage done on them. Original Rostyle spare in boot . I have the other four unshod Rostyles to go with the car.
There is a new crinkle-finish dash for anyone with the skills and time to fit it.
Paint not the best but polishes up well.
Confidently use as-is whilst taking it to next levelBought by me on 19/ 10/ 2006 with 9 former keepers. I had it checked over by an MG Specialist who gave it a clean bill of health and from there on I replaced the whole interior and hood as well as doing what was necessary to keep it on the road. I sold it to a friend on 30/ 11/ 2016 who went through it from front to back, spending nigh on £2000 on parts alone. I bought it back from him on 14/ 01/ 2023 and have taken it to a number of shows as well as driven around in it as well as my other cars. Lots of work and maintenance done over the years to keep this car on the road. Too much to list but the photos give a good idea of the overall condition. It is tax and MOT exempt. Best colour in my opinion.
