I Bought this car in May 2024 from an advert on this site. I paid 11k plus the courier delivery to my home.. It’s had 7 previous owners the one before me had it as his wife’s car for over 10 years..
there is a file of paperwork with around 20 old Mot cars, owners hanbook etc.
I’ve had some work done on it mainly some welding to areas under the boot, plus had the seats part recovered . Brakes were overhauled as a front calliper piston was sticky.
Nice smooth driver for a 44 year old car. It’s had a repaint a fairly long time ago and could be improved on . The mileage I believe to be genuine at under 100k.
I put it though a Mot altho it is both Tax free and Mot exempt.
Selling as I’ve driven it less than 300 miles this past year and it’s just sitting in my garage taking up room. My son laughed when he saw my ‘Bobby Ewing’ merc. I just love the style and looks.( he is more of a Porsche fan).
The duck hood was fitted by the previous owner not long before I bought it.
But frankly a convertible doesn’t make much sense living in the south west of a wet Scotland.
Time to move on and altho I will drop money on this car I’m happy to consider offers.
