I have owned the car for 2 years, I bought the car as a project with intentions to fully restore it but unfortunately due to having a young family I don’t have the time.
Since owning the car, it has successfully passed 2 MOT’s and I have replaced the 2 batteries with new ones. It has just gone through MOT so is sold with nearly 12 months.
The car starts every time and whilst I’ve owned it, it’s been stored inside a unit.
Given the age of the car the paintwork is in very good condition, there are a few dents and rust spots but as shown in the pictures the paintwork is good.
The most noticeable dent is a golf ball size dent on the Left Hand front wing. A few rust spots on the bonnet and roof.
The wheels have been refurbished by a previous owner and are all in good condition.
There are 2 Falken tyres on the rear with plenty of tread. 2 Michelin pilots on the front again with plenty of tread left.
The iconic headlights have been a struggle through the MOT’s, they have both been repaired on the adjusters, however since the recent MOT one of the lights stays up and the other has a mind of its own.
The interior is clean other than the roof lining. Unfortunately it appears that the headlining of the roof, a pillar trims and c pillar has been pulled off and stuck back on. My intentions were to reline this but time constraints have meant that I haven’t been able to.
There is plenty of history/ paperwork that comes with the car including pictures of a full respray that was commissioned by a previous owner.
Viewings welcome, it is a great car and someone with time would be able to restore this easily without much cost. Save it from going to a dealers and thought I’d get time to restore it.
