For sale is this superb 2011 3. 5L Ford USA Flex 7 seat MPV. The model name Flex sums up this very versatile MPV seating seven in total comfort, plus with such ease and in just seconds all the seats fold flat making a massive load space big enough for a double mattress so two could sleep in comfort which was a big plus for me to purchase this Ford as I intended to do a extensive continetal tour over several months towing a caravan and to this end I have gone right through the cars mechanics which included full brake and suspention checkover, change ALL oils and filters, new plugs, all new engine mounts, two complete new drive shafts, New battery, New Tow Bar with detachable ball, New MOT.
It comes with lots of new spare maintenance parts ie :- Auxiliary belt, oil filter, water pump and comprehensive cam chain kit with all three chain`s, crank sprockets, VVC Cam sprockets, Auto cam chain adjusters, chain guides, Full top end gasket and seal set including head gaskets, plugs, Brake pads, plus a pair of good used drive shafts and some good engine mounts, All told just the spares ( not counting parts used for the service etc) cost £750
The body work is immaculate with no rust and the underside is just as nice as recently imported from California. Fitted with lovely factory 18" alloys with as-new tires, the spare and the jack have never been used. The cream 7-seat full leather is also in superb condition and for further comfort, I have fitted front lambs wool covers to the front seats. The front and rear air con is ice cold plus passengers have individual TV in the headrest with CD up front. The car drives superbly with a silky smooth and silent engine and 6 speed auto box with top gear being an overdrive, making it amazingly good on fuel for a 3. 5L Road tax is just £30 a month with cheap insurance The parts are so easy and cheap to order direct from the USA and all came from a superb supplier, "Rock Auto", All delivered to my door in just four days ! Parts really are cheap for instance, BOTH complete new drive shafts with CV Joints at both ends cost just £290 for the pair, which also included delivery and customs. The old shafts just needed CV boots but when I discovered the cost for the full shafts it was a no-brainer to just fit the full shafts.
Another reason for my purchase of this Flex is I know of a chap in Canada who has had a Flex from new and now showing 350, 000 KM and it is still running strong on its original engine and box! showing what can be expected if serviced properly, as has my car with just one owner in the USA and me in the UK.

This Flex is now spot on and ready for any journey. Unfortunately, my trip is cancelled due to poor health, hence this sale.
