This car is in immaculate condition inside and out. It is the best colour combination for a 2seater convertible sports car and the wind deflector means that even at high speed you are cocooned in warmth and protected from all elements. It has 11 months MOT left and the only advisory being the tyres which I was assured will be good for another year at least. The carpets are covered with Mercedes over mats in good order and the seats are immaculate as is the remainder of the cabin. The electrically adjustable seats are fully operational with each seat having 3 settings which adjusts the seats, lumbar support, headrests, interior mirror and wing mirrors together with the steering wheel. The car spent the first 20 years of its life in Jersey and I bought it after it was imported with only 22000 fully documented miles showing it has been meticulously maintained by a Mercedes agent in Jersey and after I bought it I had it checked by my local Mercedes main dealer who serviced it but the health check revealed no faults of any kind. It is solid underneath in view of the gentle climate and low speed limits in Jersey. I have 2 keys a leather pack containing all the service record and handbooks including the pack for the command system. There is a very comprehensive file of invoices, mot s and service invoices. The car comes with a cotton cover with the Mercedes star which covers it as it lives in my garage and does not go out in the rain or during the winter. It also has the desirable glass sun roof with the roof blind. The only issue with the car is the start button which does not work but it always starts first time with the key. I am only selling because I want to move onto another bucket list car. The personalised registration number is not included in the sale. The car will be returned to its original number which was LW03AKX. This is my third SL 500 and the best by far. I drive to the south of France every year and this is the only way to travel! Last year I drove through the alps into Italy and round Tuscany then back via south of France it was spectacular and the car was perfect. I can achieve 30 mpg on a run like that which is thanks to its brilliant engine management system. I have all the Importation documents on the file. There is no better sl500 on the market than this one and not likely to be another in such good condition and with such a low well documented mileage.
