Tatuus Formula Renault Sport 2000 (2004) – Chassis No. 500
A well sorted example of the renowned Tatuus Formula Renault Sport 2000, built in 2004.
[Engine has only done 50KM since rebuild]
Modifications:
Engine (Renault F4R Aspirated):
- Intake system upgraded from a single 50mm throttle body to 4 individual 42mm throttle bodies
- F1 CAMS Racing camshafts installed
- Pistal Racing pistons fitted
- MAXXRODS steel connecting rods
- Cylinder head machining with re-profiled intake and exhaust ducts, increasing compression ratio
- Marelli ECU replaced with updated GET Performance ECU with new engine mapping
- Addition of an active 4-row Lambda sensor with dynamic map correction
Gearbox:
- Electro-actuated power shift with steering wheel-mounted gear change
- Bevel gear pair rebuilt with increased module (original ratio maintained)
Additional Equipment:
- Available with both a complete 6-speed short gearbox and a complete 6-speed long gearbox (Medium speed is currently installed)
- Spare front wings, noses and various carbon fiber bits also available.
NOTE:
This car is located in Verona Italy, I am a friend of the family listing this on their behalf as the owner is not fluent in English - but is someone who races Renault Spiders and is primarily an engineer. Any questions is preferred through message as I will need to liaise with his daughter who does speak English.
Comes with 3 thick folders of paperwork (see pictures) , things like original pistons and rods are still in possession if the buyer wanted to see these for peace of mind.
Reason for sale is because it simply isn't getting any use and the owner wants to focus purely on the Renault Spider racing. Open to offers.
