Well-sorted 1966 Triumph TR4A IRS for sale.
The car has the 2138cc Triumph engine with manual overdrive gearbox, and comes in Signal Red with black interior trim. It has a Surrey top, including its matching centre section (not pictured). It also comes with a comprehensive history file.
Mechanically the car is in very good condition all round. It is fully roadworthy and in regular use. It starts, drives, rides and stops very nicely. It has been serviced regularly, and has had sensible upgrades like an electric fan and electronic ignition, and comes with nearly new wheels and tyres. Underneath it is in very sound condition and the interior is also very nice. I have owned the car for 12 years and it has always been reliable - zero breakdowns.
While the car is on the road and ready to enjoy straight away, there is now scope to improve the body and paintwork. As such this TR4A would make a straightforward project for a competent DIY restorer with loads of potential to add value.
A reluctant sale of a great car, but a realistic asking price of £13500 ono.
