Owned by an elderly lady from new until 2025, it has been meticulously maintained with a full service every year regardless of the few miles covered.
It has had three cambelt changes with the most recent last year at 46k. It also had a new gearbox fitted at the same mileage. Stacks and stacks of paperwork present.
The 1. 6 engine is from a time when engines were simple, built to last and without any complicated emission control features to inevitably fail. It runs impeccably smooth with nothing untoward. The auto gearbox is also in excellent order. It is capable of 40mpg.
Bodywork is excellent with no sign of any damage nor repairs; a remarkable statement for a car that is nearly 30 years old. The colour is beautiful in the sun and the pictures do it no justice.
Interior is also very good with teal velour upholstery and original matching Megane floor mats. No leaks.
This is the RT spec which includes front electric windows, electric mirrors, electric sunroof, heated windscreen, radio with cassette player, steering wheel controls, teal interior and a secondary immobiliser.
