Built by the late Jim Dunbar, President of the Scottish Riley Enthusiasts, during the late 1990’s and in regular use ever since. The car is correctly registered and comprises a 1933 Riley 9hp chassis, shortened, and fitted with a later 12/ 4 engine and 12/ 4 axles with Girling rod brakes. Stylishly bodied, with ample luggage space, the car is ideally set up for long distance tours or rallies.
Engine fully rebuilt less than 3000miles ago to Sprite+ specification, with ultra-high compression pistons, new white metalled mains, shell conversion big ends, new cams, RM rocker gear, genuine Sprite carbs, modern oil filter conversion, lightened flywheel with sprung drive plate, and many other extras.
Preselector rebuild within the last 8years. 4. 1 rear axle ratio. 11
Nicely patinated grey cellulose paintwork and with modified original Riley leather seats.
This car has extensively toured most corners of Scotland over the last 25years and is ready for more!
