Description
BMW Alpina B3 3. 3 cabriolet, 2001 – 54k miles only!
A very rare car, in stunning condition/ possibly THE best B3.
• Great service history and last serviced 500 miles ago - with BMW parts/ filters etc. to include BMW oils and diff oil changed, miles now 54, 900
• A massive folder full of receipts (previous owner spent £’k's on the car, using genuine BMW/ Alpina parts from Sytner BMW) he purchased the car to win concours events.
• Low number of owners @ 3
• 4 matching Michelin Pilot Sport tyres (1, 000 miles)
• 4-wheel alignment just completed
• The car has the extended buffalo leather pack – heated seats etc.
• The car is number #12 of 130 made and 47 are currently taxed and road worthy (quite a rare now)
• This car came 3rd at the BMW Concours event last August 2024 and has just won 1st place at the Northern Malpas Car Show (900 cars attended) 8th June 2025.
History> 3 previous owners. The car has been serviced @: 1, 202 (running in service), 11, 910, 26, 544, 39, 745, 51, 631, 53, 510, 53, 942, 54, 462, 54, 567 – all the services were at BMW or BMW specialist accept the last one. Car has been serviced nine times, last service a few hundred miles ago, wants for nothing.
The Sapphire Blue (special Alpina colour) paint is lovely, the extended buffalo leather and wood interior matches the outside (mint as is the underside). The wheels were refurbished a few years ago and alongside the Michelin Pilot Sport tyres are as new/ unmarked. Two sets of keys plus 4 matching wheel centre locks (new centre caps a few years ago). It has the Alpina leather owner and service folders and a massive folder of invoices etc. for parts, accompanies the car. 12 months MOT just completed 23rd May 2025 - advisory free (got "this is so clean" comment from the MOT'er).
It drives supper smoothly with no faults, sounds superb, via the sliky smooth six cylinder engine and is in mint condition. It is also unmodded/ original even down to the 2001 Ericsson mobile phone fitted from new!
The Alpina B3 with the 3. 3 gets under your skin, it is nippy and the suspension and whole rattle free element of the car with the wood and the proper leather/ hide interior makes for a fantastic drive.
Several people who have looked at the car (Alpina and BMW Car Club guys) have said it is possibly THE best Alpina B3 cabriolet in the UK?
Alpina is 60 years old this year and with the heightened press exposure, I think these cars are seriously undervalued and will be in the future spotlight.
I am ONLY selling, as a car I have been looking at for 10 years has come to the market - this Alpina needs nothing and drives superbly.
Now £16, 999 reduced from £20, 999 – based not far from Shrewsbury (talk to me regarding offers, happy to discuss).
