Finished in the sought after color combo of British Racing Green/ Biscuit interior, this British engineering masterpiece, went through a passionate and thorough "Frame off" Nut/ Bolt restoration and Bare Metal Respray between 2000-2002.
Special attention of retaining the cars Soul and Character has been taken throughout the restoration, and as such the old gorgeously patinated interior, Biscuit soft top as well as the original wiring loom has been retained. Original dials/ instruments has been restored, and original bumpers and brightwork re-chromed. The twin exhaust system has been upgrated to stainless steel.
The paint job is completed to a very high standard, with a deep glow and shine.
The fully restored engine pulls strongly and has the softest deep roar at acceleration, and ticks over sweetly at 500rpm.
The gearbox shifts smoothly as can be expected from a well restored Moss box.

As part of the rebuild the cylinder head has been replaced with a straight port head (as per E-Type and mk X) offering better performance.
Due to a very busy career the gentleman/ owner who had the car restored, only covered around 2000 miles in it between year 2002 and up until 2022, all through this time it was being stored in dry conditions.
In 2022 the car has been mechanically recommissioned, and really shows to what a high standard it has been restored.
It is now used regularly during the summer, a real bullitt prove and reliable "driving machine" of a classic car.

Mille Miglia eligible - As this XK140 is build in 1956 it can be entered in the prestigious "1000 Mille Miglia" event.
The car is sold privately, and can be viewed in southern part of Denmark. One hours drive from Copenhagen airport, and 40 minutes drive form the ferry crossing to Germany.
