Description
1961 Lotus, super Seven
Lotus, super Seven. With 1500 cost with pre-crossflow engine.
I acquired this Lotus, as a winter project and put back to its glory as it should’ve been as it came out the factory. Painted in Brooklyn’s Green and finished to a high standard.
The car has also been mechanically sorted, new brakes, slave cylinders, new distributor, new radiator, new panels and also freshly painted. I have also put it back onto steel wheels with new tires all round.
The engine was rebuilt by the previous owner and is running strong and has not let me down. (Just done 200 mile shakedown).
The interior is trimmed in red with white piping, which I believe looks good against the green bodywork.
The Lotus, also comes with full weather gear, which is all in good condition.
Feel free to come and inspect the car as I know no one will be disappointed as it is finished to a very high standard.
Thanks for lookingThe history of the car is quite interesting as it has a few interesting previous owners, most famous of the owners was Colonel H Jones, (the highest decorated soldier in the Falklands war that died) who was the first owner of the car.
