1971 Lotus Seven S4 1700

'FTX 99K' is one of just c. 664 Lotus-built Seven S4s and was first registered in October 1971, still retaining its original number today. The displayed mileage is 61, 000 but this cannot be warranted. Beautifully presented in a blaze red with period correct Dunlop alloys shod with Yokahama A539 tyres. Original and correct seats with modern TRS 4 point harnesses.
Extensively restored by its last (and only fifth) owner over the past five years. During the restoration, the Seven benefitted from a fully rebuilt 1700cc crossflow on twin 40s, checked and tuned by Craig Beck Racing Ltd and measured at 125bhp with lots of torque! The chassis has been refurbished by Neil Fowler Motorsport including new front discs and pads and adjustable damper/ spring platforms all round.
In addition, it has a new race battery, custom-built stainless steel exhaust manifold and silencer box, gearbox overhauled by BGH Geartech, custom-made wind deflectors, refurbished original seats and 4 point new seat belts.
The Lotus will be supplied with a new MoT, its history file, roll-out tonneau and current V5C.
