1997 Toyota Celica 1. 8 Gen 6 25th anniversary model (number 214) in alpine silver
Recently re commissioned after being off the road for a couple of years. There was not much history when I bought it and the service book that it came with turned out to be from a hi-lux, so it has had a full service (belt had just been done before being taken off the road) still in good condition and valves within tolerances. Calipers cleaned and new piston and seal in front caliper, pads and discs replaced like the belt, discs have a bit of pitting from being stood but will clear with use. New battery fitted. Underside nice and clean, cleaned and undersealed, mechanical very good. Seat and interior all in good condition. Wheels all good and barely and good tyres all round, I think they are gen 7 but really suits the car, spare looks to be original, boot in very good condition as is under the bonnet. Paint wise I would say slightly better than average, it has has some paint at some point and there is a small run at one point, the roof is a bit dull, probably been buffed a few times, there are a couple of small dings, one on the bonnet and one on the front wing, the rear arches are really solid and the original spot welds are still there. Just been mot'd, I'm there's a few things that I've forgot but a nice cheap 90's classic that you can jump in and use.
Would consider a px for a 70-90's bike either way
