Daimler Double Six Vanden Plas HE Auto in Maraschino Black with Doeskin Leather
Registered 1st April 1982 in Glasgow by the main dealer Arnold Clark
The mileage is genuine and warranted at around 27500 and the car has been fully recommissioned after a period in the Jaguar Heritage Collection.
FNS has been a collection car since 2014 when JLR acquired Dr James Hull’s 500+ car collection. Dr Hull purchased the car in 2006 with 24, 898 miles. The car was supplied new in 1982 by Arnold Clark in Glasgow and still wears its supplying dealer number plates
All work required by the Daimler has been completed either by Jaguar Heritage themselves including a new stainless steel exhaust and brakes all round
Since then, we have completed the following work to fully recommission the car:-
New Battery
New tank cross over
Full Service including all fluids, spark plugs and belts
New Pirelli tyres as period
Full underbody clean up and Lanoguard protection
Rear under bumper tank panels
Steering rack gaiters and ball joint dust covers
We will put 12 months MOT on the car for the new owner
We have covered a number of road test miles to ensure complete reliability. A couple of slight marks on the bodywork have been rectified and the car is now bodily absolutely immaculate and as original
If you are looking for an outstanding collector / investment grade Jaguar or Daimler, you will not find a better and more genuinely immaculate one. This is also the very rare Vanden Plas model (as per the magazine article)
It is better in the metal inside and out than it is in the pictures. Just an outstanding car.
