1998 1275 Mini Cooper in Volcano Orange for sale
Currently SORN and no MOT.
This lovely cooper is reaching the point that it requires some touching up or restoration. The usual places need attention, as you can see in the pictures the floorpan, drivers door and under the headlights need attention.
Mechanically in great condition and starts first time, this is a later Mini Cooper and drives fantastically. You can see from the history below it's been well looked after, but as normal it's the bodywork that now needs attention.
Owned by myself for the last few years, the plan was to restore it but now with a young family the time isn’t there to do the required work.
Lots of service history up to 2022 which is when it’s been garaged with little use. The MOT between 2022 and 2023 shows 127 miles driven.

2014 - August - New exhaust heat shield, front disks and pads replaced, near side sill ground out and replaced.

2017 - April- Replaced fuel tank, fuel pump and sender units.
2018 - MOT/ Service
2018 - Ball joints adjusted, inner seal offside replaced and repainted. New bonnet chrome fitted. New subframe?
2020 - Jan - MOT/ serviced by previous owner
2020 - March - New oil filter. New spark plugs. New oil.
2020 - April - Clutch assembly renewed, new radiator and cooling pipes. Engine stabiliser bush replaced. Engine steady bar replaced. Water pump replaced. Fan belt replaced. New engine thermostat. New slave cylinder.
2020 - June - wheels balanced and tracking.
2020 - October - New battery
At some point there are invoices for door, paintwork, A-panel, sill, hinges, suspension, disk pads, window runners - replaced/ repaired @ £1650ish
2022 January - 2x new front tyres
2022 May - MOT, service, new CV joints
