I grew up around old Fords — my dad had a Sapphire Cosworth throughout my childhood, so this Mk3 Fiesta was my way of having something of my own that could carry that same spirit. It’s lightweight, analogue, raw — and just fun in a way that modern cars can’t match.
What makes this car special is how simple but purposeful it is. The 1. 8 Zetec on GSXR carbs transforms it — the sound, the throttle response, the character. Combined with the GAZ Gold coilovers and clean 5-door shell, it’s a proper little fast road toy that turns heads for all the right reasons.
I originally bought it to take to Ford shows alongside my dad and his Cossie — and it always got attention for being something different. It’s a rare spec, subtly aggressive, and has all the right ingredients for someone to take it further or enjoy it as-is.
