Description
Sunbeam Alpine 1967 manual with rare Holbay 1725 engine in excellent condition throughout. This car was restored bodily and re-sprayed some years ago (photos available). Since then it has never been out in the rain or salt. The engine was totally rebuilt five years ago and all sorts of new parts fitted (bills to prove). Since then , it has only done 14000 miles and has been well looked after. The interior and hood have been restored, and it also has a new tonneau and hood cover. I have recently fitted a new H. D. battery, new coil and new electronic distributor. It has all good tyres including the spare. The car looks good, sounds good, and performs really well. With working overdrive it easily keeps up with (or overtakes) modern traffic. The only fault is that the ends of the bumpers, which are solid, would benefit from s re-chrome. ( the advertised price reflects this }. Apart from getting too old for it, I shall be losing my carpeted, heated garage soon, hence the sale. The registeation number is worth up to £3000, but it would be wrong to sell it separately and lose the originality of the car. It is ULEZ compliant and can be driven away, or delivered at cost after payment in full.
