Description
This is my Mk2 phase 1 Clio RSi.
It has the 1. 6 16 valve K4M engine and has done currently 78, 000 miles.
MOT until 7th February 2026. This was a clean pass.
ULEZ and LEZ Scotland compliant.
A recent house move is the reason for sale, need a new front door!
I have had this for 19 months and have really enjoyed having it around.
I have had a few Clio's, some 1. 2's and a 172 and a 182.
Out of them all I like this the most, you can really push it while not getting to stupid speeds.
It is brilliant on my commute, I take the boring dual carriageway to work and then the back roads home.
It has been serviced and bits replaced when required.
Rear shocks were both replaced, exhaust mount poly bushed.
It has had some tyres and a battery in the last couple of years, just the usual running costs as expected.
When I got it the biggest annoyance was the buzzing from the speakers, they all got replaced and a blaupunkt bluetooth stereo fitted. This made the biggest difference to my driving comfort.
As with most used cars it isn't perfect.
There is a rust bleb on one rear arch but the rest of the car is in amazing condition for a 24 year old car.
There is a smudge of white paint on the drivers seat cloth.
The car runs a little lumpy on cold start, it is fine after a minute or two.
This hasn't bothered me in all the miles I have done in it.
It has an AC button, it makes no difference to the temperature of the air. I just open the window.
If you have owned a 172 or 182 then you would be glad to hear this has rear drums so no problem every year with the rear calipers, it also has no bodykit to hide plenty of rust.
I feel I have priced this sensibly, there aren't many to compare it to but I am open to sensible offers.
