Description
This early model left the assembly line at the Land Rover factory in Solihull England on the 1 st. of February 1952.
On the 11 th. Of February it was shipped to Denmark, where it was used as an agricultural vehicle in and around the fields of South East part of Seeland(Denmark).
Around 1960 it was equipped with PTO to accommodate the use of different farming tools.
Around 10 years ago the Land Rover was taken apart and restored.
The restoration included amongst other a factory new Bulkhead/ Torpedo, restored chassis frame, new wiring loom, new Canvas top.
During the rebuild, care was taken to keep the soul and history of the vehicle, and as such the factory original Aluminium Panels has been re-installed still showing the old sunbeaten paint.
The original bootlid is unfortunately missing, and has been replaced.
Included in the sale comes the parts that has been replaced in the restoration, including the old original Bulkhead/ Torpedo.
This Land Rover starts every time, even after a long cold winter, and it drives well.
