This is a unique offer to realise a Rolls Royce Phantom 2 rebuild yourself.
This Phantom 2 Rolling Chassis (10JS) has been fully professionally restored and is now ready for a new body build, either as an open tourer, saloon or even just as an impressive display piece. The original body was a Barker saloon and was exhibited at the 1931 UK Motor Show Olympia in London at Barker. Unfortunately, this body could no longer be rebuilt, as it had suffered too much damage in its almost 100 years. The bonnet, parts of the front bulkhead cover and leather upholstery are still original and could be restored.
The chassis was still in very good condition and was therefore completely renovated in a total of 1400 hours of manual labour.
The body was removed from the subframe and this was blasted and is now ready to receive a new body. The engine (KD65) including gearbox is mounted separately on a pallet and still needs a complete restoration. It can be turned and is complete.
There are complete documents available and various copies of the original delivery papers. The vehicle is duty paid in Switzerland (13. 20).
The vehicle must be collected together with the engine, gearbox and many accessories.
The project is being sold due to lack of time.

Dieses ist ein einmaliges Angebot um einen Rolls Royce Phantom 2 Neuaufbau selbst zu verwirklichen.
Dieses Phantom 2 Rolling Chassis (10JS) ist komplett professionell restauriert worden und ist nun bereit um einen neuen Body Aufbau durchzuführen, entweder als open tourer, Limousine oder auch nur als eindrückliches Ausstellungsobjekt. Der ursprüngliche Body war eine Barker Limousine und wurde 1931 an der UK Motor Show Olympia in London bei Barker ausgestellt. Dieser Body war leider nicht mehr neu aufzubauen, da er zu fest in den nun fast 100 Jahren in Mitleidenschaft gezogen wurde. Die Motorhaube, Teile der vordere Spritzwandabdeckung und Lederpolster sind im Original noch vorhanden und könnten restauriert werden.
Das Chassis war noch in sehr gutem Zustand und wurde deshalb komplett renoviert in insgesamt 1400 Stunden Handarbeit.
Der Body wurde vom Subframe entfernt und dieser wurde gestarhlt und ist nun bereit zur Aufnahme eines neuen Bodys. Der Motor (KD65) samt Getriebe ist separat auf einem Palett montiert und benötigt noch eine komplette Restaration. Er lässt sich drehen und ist vollständig.
Es sind komplette Unterlagen vorhanden und diverse Kopien der originalen Auslieferungspapiere. Das Fahrzeug ist in der Schweiz verzollt (13. 20).
Das Fahrzeug muss samt Motor, Getriebe und viel Zubehör abgeholt werden.
Das Projekt wird aus Zeitmangel verkauft.
