1966 Aston Martin DB6 Automatic
Offering for sale on behalf of our client, chassis Number DB6/ 2651/ R was built 5th April 1966 and despatched from the factory on the 13th April to dealers HR Owen Limited. Originally finished in Dubonnet red and black interior, factory options included chrome road wheels with three-ear spinners, a heated rear window and power aerial. A full length Webasto roof is now fitted.
In its current ownership since 2007 the Aston was painted silver and has been used sparingly. Covering just a handful of miles particularly in the last few years some recommissioning and general tidying is now advised.
Driving nicely on a recent road test the sliding roof makes the car an absolute joy combining all the advantages of both an open and closed car. Although MoT exempt it has recently been MoT tested, expiring 14th May 2026. The car comes with a quantity of paperwork including invoices for work undertaken over the years, large quantity of expired MoTs, copies of the factory build cards, heritage certificate and V5C registration document.
In my opinion it is one of, if not THE best value DB6s on the market presently.
