This is my 1981 Mini 1000 HL, first registered 1/ 8/ 81 with just 4 previous owners.
I bought this privately on 11/ 11/ 2020 and have owned it ever since.
It is registered as an historic vehicle and is mot and tax exempt however it has a mot until July 2026.
It has in the last month undergone a major overhaul including;
Oil change, new spark plugs, new distributor cap, rear fog light, fuel cap, 4 new Yokohama A008 tyres, new thermostat and radiator hose, new wiper blades, new floor pan, sill, door step panel, jacking point, boot lid and under seal costing £6310, receipt available.
The car starts first time every time and runs beautifully easily getting up to motorway speeds.
The exterior is is good all round condition but as with any car of this age is showing a few signs of wear and tear. It is running beautiful Dunlop 10 inch wheels with new sticky Yokohama tyres.
The interior is very good with relatively new carpets and seat covers. The dash is in good condition although some of the leather is starting to peel and the head lining is starting to come away around the sunroof as seen in the pictures. I have recently fitted a modern Bluetooth stereo as well.
This is a great useable classic car that would make a fantastic daily driver.
