I am selling on behalf of the owner who has fallen ill. The car was bought under 2 years ago and was subjected to a complete mechanical overhaul, paying attention to replacing all of the suspension bushes and replacing them with Poly bushes along with new bolts and fasteners. Whilst under the car it was noticed that the underseal whilst protecting the underside was way too thick. Over the winter the underseal was removed and replaced with paint and waxoil. Before this in 2022 the car was placed in the hands of trusted MX-5 restorers MX-5 City . The car was treated to 2 brand new Mazda wings, sills, boot lid and associated welding including having the car de-badged and the holes welded up. to streamline the car. When this was completed the car was resprayed in Classic Red along with the detachable Hardtop . Mechanically the car has been treated to New coilover suspension, New uprated alloy radiator, new wheels and tyres uprated brakes and discs from a NB model, Dave Fab screen wash reservoir and rear jacking bar. The car has been serviced regularly and has recently had the cam belt changed along with the water pump. The car is ready to be enjoyed by the next owner. Sadly the owner has not been able to finish replacing the rear poly bushes and these are included in the sale. The car is currently garaged on a 4 post lift at sellers address and available for inspection.
