Description
Mgb roadster 1800. This is a 4 speed manual with the very desirable overdrive fitted. Unleaded head. Expensive Weber carb conversion by the previous owner (SU carbs available) and chrome wire wheels. Electronic ignition.
Whilst not a concourse vehicle ( it's not priced as such) it is a really very nice example of this marque far surpassing the average mgb out there and is rot free. It runs and drives very nicely and is extremely capable in modern traffic, cruising very comfortably and relaxed at motorway speeds with the overdrive engaged, and of course an absolute joy on B roads. It has been completely reliable in my 5 year ownership. I searched for almost a year to find a really good example before I found this one. I had a few jobs to do when I first got it and since then it's just been the regular maintenance a classic car needs. It's very reliable. I love the colour, one of the less common colours, and I get so many compliments on it. Only selling as I might fancy a change.
