4 previous owners 2 being the same family that have owned it in succession for the last 30 years prior to 2023 .
Milage currently shows 59199 which is believed to be original, and the lack of ware and tear on the controls would also suggest this .
Prior to finding it it was off the road for over 20 years , this alone has helped it to be one of the most solid UK RHD vans that we have seen for many years .
The underside and structural areas of the body are in excellent unrestored condition and have also been coated in wax oil recently to help preserve the van .
The interior is all original, with original cushions and fittings , the original vinyl floor has been removed and will need to be replaced not a big job , and the roof canvass has also been removed and will need a new one ( old one present for reference) .
Mechanically the van has been thoroughly checked and anything needed has been replaced or revamped .
The engine runs and sounds like it should do with the original carburettor being replaced with a genuine period correct vw item very recently.
It starts first time every time .
Gearbox and steering is responsive and feels very solid a pleasure to drive .
Body and paint are in excellent condition as is the chrome trim and hub caps .
