This exceptional vehicle boasts an absolutely unique ownership history. It belonged to two legends of the automobile and American cinema: Steve McQueen and Carroll Shelby - Steve McQueen, a Hollywood icon with a passion for cars, acquired this Chrysler Airflow in the 1970s. Known for his refined taste and exacting standards when it came to vehicles, McQueen kept only emblematic models with strong historical and emotional value in his collection - When McQueen died in 1980, the car was included in the famous auction of his estate, organised in 1984. It was then bought by another legendary name in motoring: Carroll Shelby. A legendary engineer, driver and manufacturer, Shelby recognised the car's historic importance and kept it as a collector's item. Current state of the vehicle The car is in remarkable condition today. It has been meticulously preserved after its restoration, in keeping with its authenticity. The bodywork is in concours condition, the interior is perfectly preserved, and the engine runs perfectly. A complete overhaul has recently been carried out to ensure its mechanical reliability.
