Description
This fine, original, example of a Porsche 924 is the second car in my classic car collection that has had to be put up for sale due to a recent house move fall through: it was planned to be housed in a much bigger garage and driveway plot, but now that I am forced to stay put for the foreseeable future, and with my partner is moving in and needing somewhere to park her car off road, as a "weekends and high days" car it has to go. As you can see, I took the photos while the For Sale house sign was up a few months back and I didn't advertise as I've been trying to find a way to hang onto the car, but its just not possible, at least for how I'd like to be able to use it.
MOT and Tax Exempt (it's registered as a historic vehicle), it nonetheless passed its MOT a few days ago, with NO ADVISORIES, the expiry date on 24/ 06/ 2026.
Low mileage, rust free and very sound. Since I've had it I've kept on top any issues and I've been attentive to anything that needs doing. Recent works include:
* new fuel pump
* new fuel accumulator
* new fuel filter
* new battery
* alternator rebuild
* WUR refurb
* boot lid seals
* oil and filter change
You can tell from the photos what great condition the car is in, with only a couple of very minor defects to detract, namely a couple of "infamous" cracks in the dashboard, a few stone chips on the bumper, and a very small scratch on the lower area of the passenger door that should polish out.
The cambelt was changed less than 5000 miles ago in Oct 2017.
I work from home so car is available to view most days.
