1966 Triumph TR4A
4 Speed Gearbox with Overdrive on 2nd 3rd and 4th. With overdrive on warning light.
John Brown Wheels copies of Minilites with new Tyres fitted June 2023.
Mazda MX5 seats with headrests fitted.
MOT 9th May with no advisories.
The following work I have carried out on the car over the last 2 years.
Converted to Negative earth.
New mechanical Fuel pump.
Revotec Electric fan with thermostat switch and also manual override. with warning light. Both wired thru separate fuses and relays.
Tropical 6 blade mechanical Fan.
Radiator rebuilt 2024 with modern core (more fins per inch)
Converted from Dynamo to 70 Amp Alternator.
Thin Fan belt conversion.
New engine mounts.
Carbs professionally rebuilt. K&N Filters.
Car tuned and rolling roaded at Rally Equip.
Diff professionally rebuilt and new Poweflex bushes used in rebuild.
Showing good compression across all 4 cylinders.
TR6 Wiper motor fitted better quality and 2 speed this also included over hauling the wiper boxes and worm drive.
Heater box replaced
Oil mist catch tank.
Electric master cut off switch fitted in car.
Second hidden coil cut of switch fitted ( anti theft )
Twin USB charging port fitted. Auxiliary Digital Speedo.
LED Instrument Lights.
Rear Aircraft spec Fire Wall fitted seam sealed with fire retardant material.
Evidence of a lot of new panels fitted approx 10 years ago. The TR4A was always the sports car for me. More Torque, more speed , more room and also in my humble opinion better looking than a MGB.
Only for sale following a cycling accident, I can still drive it but I am finding it difficult to work on and to me that's half the fun of owning a classic car.
