I have information from the local Porsche dealership that confirms the car was registered in 1989.
U8 paint code=Slate Grey Metallic.
LT interior trim= partial black leather.
5FV = black carpet.
Not been used since 2016.
Last service 2015, 500 mile covered since.
Fitted battery, added fresh fuel, it started immediately, drove fine to MOT centre, failed on no brake and number plate lights, handbrake lever travel and exhaust emissions, which the tester said a good blast up the road should fix.
Not bad for a car unused in 9 years
I've done a hpi check and it was a cat D in the early 90's, my brother was told it was stolen recovered but no proof of this.
If you are looking for a decent 911 and can live with the interior, this car is definitely worth a look and at around half the price of a non cat registered car, I think a bargain.
It's still a 911 after all.
