Offering my 1968 Triumph GT6 Mk1 for sale somewhat reluctantly... after 10 years plus ownership. I love this car.... but.. it spends 99. 9% of time in my garage.. usual story you read in many adverts.
It's a fantastic, charming and highly original example, having covered and genuine documented 27, 500 miles. Undersealed from new and still excellent underneath. It's had some paint over the years but never restored or even panels replaced/ repaired as far as I can tell. Still running on points and lead additive in the petrol, still has its original carpets, interior, wire wheels, number plates and a whole lot more.
She has had just 2 previous owners... a lady initially who used it for local runs and then two brothers who persued the car from the first owner for a good while before acquiring it and then I purchased it from them, again not without a lot of effort.
I've maintained the car and its originality as much as possible during my custodianship and would hope the any new owner will do the same as there can't be many out there like this.
I know I'll regret it as everyone tells you, but its the right time for me.
Such a lovely, original example of the mark, one to be cherished.
