My lovely XJS is up for sale. It’s been a fabulous modern classic to own and I will be sad to see it go. Good service history and the car has been well maintained in my 10 year ownership.
Work in that time includes, regular servicing, oil changes, coolant flush, braking system overhaul, spark plug change, all thermostats replaced and metal expansion tank replaced, recent new battery, new headliner, leather upholstery refurbished and some items re-covered, electric window control modules replaced.
It’s had lots of attention wherever it has needed it with various other ancillary items replaced or refurbished over the years.
The car does have some stone chips but is in very good order and looks fabulous in its dark lagoon metallic paint. Crucially it is an excellent rust-free example. Aftermarket alarm and immobiliser in full working order, 2 keys. I bought this car after initially looking for a convertible XJS. This example had recently come to the UK mainland from Northern Ireland and was offered for sale by a friend. It was such a great example, I quickly moved past my want for a convertible. The combination of the dark lagoon metallic paint and mid-facelift styling really do make this a very handsome car. The smooth as silk V12 is a real highlight and the car cruises along fantastically, it can eat up the miles.
