Are you looking for a 911 Backdate and dreaming of a purist look? We present you a backdate with a rare, narrow body from the pre-1968 series - the absolute UR-ELFER. SILVIE is a Porsche that probably only exists once in the world. One of the first 3. 2 Carrera from the summer of 1983 with a rust-free base was consistently rebuilt in sheet metal to the PRE-1968 F-model. And by "consistently" we mean EVERYTHING: mudguards, bonnet, engine cover, indicators, horn and engine grille - even the reversing lights - everything was restored to the model series before the 1968 model change. We cut out the Carrera-wide rear side panels and replaced them with F-model side panels - everything was then professionally welded and tinned. Detailed documentation is of course available. The side panels were then individually trimmed to SWB panels so that the 195 tyres could be fitted to classic original Lemmerz steel rims. The rare PRE-68 look was thus perfect - we are not aware of any other vehicle in the world. The only LWB Porsche in SWB guise. We also painted the Porsche in an original Porsche formula from the 50's ("racing silver matt"). The powerful and reliable 3. 2-litre engine and the 915 gearbox were completely overhauled, and the oil cooler and tank were renewed. We powder-coated the engine housing and fan wheel red and polished and then sealed the intake manifolds. We recently gave the Porsche new ignition distributors, ignition cables, all fluids, plugs and ignition coil are new. The injection nozzles were overhauled so that the 911 pulls powerfully in all engine speed ranges. We replaced the G-model heater with an F-model heater with new heating flaps and an additional de-frost fan, which can be controlled manually. This has also made the engine compartment even more purist. We have retained the practical wiper interval switch from the G-model series and installed it in a new location. We find the seating comfort of the original RECARO seats from 1983 to be unrivalled, even after long journeys. We had the leather seats refurbished. The PORSCHE has a restored wooden steering wheel with original horn button from the early 911 models. In addition, we replaced the G-model plastic indicator levers together with the entire steering column mechanism with the beautifully designed, early indicator levers. We also removed all the plastic trim panels in the interior and replaced them with custom-made metal panels painted in the vehicle colour. The G-model dashboard was also replaced with a simpler F-model dashboard. And the G-model door panels had to make way for the super-sleek RS style. We replaced the factory-applied anti-drumming coating on the inside of the vehicle floor with new anti-drumming. The interior was lined with new grey-black bouclé, and we installed new black floor mats to match the silver perforated racing plates in the footwell. It is a real pleasure to drive this beautiful and powerful Porsche. Its absolutely pure interior and exterior will delight anyone who loves the look of the early Porsche 911 but doesn't want to miss out on the advantages of a more modern 911.
