We can deliver your Mini to anywhere in the UK at just £1. 85 per mile, which is cost price :). Longer journeys work out a bit cheaper. All we require is the delivery payment up-front with the balance upon delivery.

Restored Morris Mini Clubman - Fast Road 1275cc

A beautiful restored example, finished in the iconic colours and uprated to and above 1275GT specification, expanded upon below. It’s wonderfully original, her original shell with the early features, an original Clubman, opposed to a later re-shell or front-end conversion.

Supplied with 12 months MOT and no advisories, comprehensively serviced to include her engine and gearbox, her brakes and cooling system, her carburettor has been stripped and cleaned, then professionally tuned by a well known classic-car-tuner, optimising her power.

This Mini was restored under 1000 miles ago. She was fully inspected by a Mini Specialist last week who rectified all faults. She then arrived with ourselves and we have spent a further £500 rectifying anything and everything we felt and feel is necessary so that you can have absolute peace of mind.

Fast Road Specification

This is a fast-road Mini, exceptional power, this beautiful roar, the sounds and smells of classical motoring, the biggest smile on your face, my heart rate fired into-action every-time I prodded the pedal, every time her wheels span off the mark. Combining a minimal power to weight ratio with that Monte-Carlo rally-winning classic Mini handling, a terrific and/ or terrifying drive.

At its core, she is uprated with the sought after Metro 1275cc engine. This engine is one of those south-after upgrades for Mini owners, offering Cooper or 1275GT power (20% higher than standard 1275cc’s, 50% higher than 1000cc) with a better camshaft profile, larger inlet valves and a higher compression ratio. This engine, stamped 12HE, is either highly uprated from standard-specification or the more powerful final MG Metro power-plant.

Her gear-box is smooth, no significant wear, no sounds or crunching, not worn like most.

When you’re ready to stop, she has very expensive AP Racing 7. 5 inch 4 pot callipers with vented discs, providing exceptional stopping power and the possibility of 10 inch alloys. Her shock absorbers are Super Sport Gas.

Restored Condition

Her exterior is almost flawless, gleaming, inside she is almost as new, see the pictures. Lifting the carpets you see solid floors (photographed), the drivers floor retains her original factory stamp. Flicking all of her switches and functions, they all work. Underneath is very nice, totally solid, many bolts fittings look recently changed or worked, not your usual rust, again see the pictures (these will be uploaded on Wednesday evening, we're just waiting for the ramp). In her boot you have her original smaller petrol tank and a boot-board carpet-set, her boot-floor looks likely original.

If I was to make her better I would dye her headlining to cover any small marks (we may do this, but we’re listing her quickly), it’s just a case of using fabric dye and a small sponge. You might decide to paint her internal boot floor which has old paint unlike every other area, albeit such is just me being finicky and it can’t be seen under the boot boards and spare wheel.

She was previously involved in an accident in 2001 (category C), but has been restored twice over since.

I have ordered a new front bumper under-rider to replace the current one which has some spoiling, new wheel nuts to replace the current ones which have slight pitting.

MOT Exempt - Tax Exempt - Clean Air Zone Exempt

Like other Clubman’s, she does not require an MOT, road tax is free and she is clean air zone exempt, saving you money.

However, unlike most Clubman’s, she is supplied with 12 months MOT and no advisories so that you and your family can feel safe.

This is our choice as a garage, I’ve seen too many deadly accidents where MOT exempt vehicles were unsafe, too many drivers finding their insurances void, often criminal ramifications for driving a dangerous vehicle.

All in all, just a beautiful vehicle, the pictures tell you everything you need to know, you won’t be disappointed.
