Description
Following a phantom buyer, I am putting back on the market my Clubman Estate from 1 January 1981. To my great regret, I must part with it for pressing health reasons (lowering of the initial price).
In beige, the vehicle has undergone bodywork and paint restoration:
- Refurbishment of the front cradle, engine bay repainted, new insulating foam, replacement of all front and rear bushings, four new suspension cones, fitting of a Hi-Lo kit, replacement of the front floors, front door panels, replacement of all front and rear door seals, windscreen seals, grille refurbished with a new British Leyland badge, installation of side strips…
The original steel wheels have been replaced with refurbished BWA alloy wheels shod with new Yokohama A008 tyres in 165x70x10.
Mechanically, the original 1100 cm3 engine block (57, 000 km) has been removed and subjected to a complete service:

Fitting of a stage 1 kit with a new full exhaust system, new headlights, as well as indicators/ parking lights,
In the cabin: new carpet, upholstery and door panels redone by a professional, Clubman steering wheel, make‑up of a luggage cover.
This Clubman Estate (collector’s‑registration document) which sleeps in a locked, heated garage is in perfect condition of presentation and operation. It is regularly serviced by a professional. The owner is meticulous and slightly obsessive. The technical inspection will be carried out prior to sale. The vehicle will be sold with its invoices file, a duplicate set of keys and a full tank of fuel.
