Completely original (standard) Peugeot 205 16Gti Special Edition in Miami Blue for sale.
This model has electric windows, power steering and grey leather interior.
I’ve had this since March 2023 and it’s a great fun drive, as you know an absolute classic and one of the ‘iconic’ hatchbacks.
Unfortunately I just don’t use it enough so with deep regret I’ve decided to let it go to a new home.
It’s been well looked after by me and is kept under cover and has been shown a few times at some local classic car shows with really positive feedback.
Honest assessment is it’s in good condition for its age, as far as I am aware it is all original inside and out.
It is not mint or showroom condition hence this is reflected in the price.
I’ve changed the radio for a cheap Bluetooth unit but do have the original Clarion cassette player which was in the car when I purchased it and still works and will come with any sale.
The gentleman I purchased it from was a Peugeot technician so did all of his own servicing, I’ve since kept it serviced and MOT’d.
It’s got an MOT until 13th May 2026.
In November 2023 I took it in to PUG1OFF and got a complete overhaul to the tune £6400. This included timing belt, water pump, head gasket set, valeo clutch kit, new piston seals, gearbox mount, starter motor, spark plugs, tailgate trim (museum second hand original), brake pads, alloy wheel refurb and a lot of other stuff.
PUG1OFF receipt lists all work done.
It basically made sure the car was mechanically sound and was driving like a 3yr old rather than a 35yr old.
I’ve got a folder of receipts, MOT’s and other bits from past owners which comes with the car.

Happy to discuss reasonable and sensible offers with the right person. I looked at a lot of these and took a number of them out on a test drive. Some were awful and some had been messed around with but as soon as I took this one out I realised it was an original unmolested version in that rarer ‘Special Edition’ 1 of 600 (1600’s) in the Miami Blue which appealed to me.
It gets a lot of head turning on the roads and lots of people looking at it when you stop for a fill up in the petrol station.
I’ve loved having it and hope someone will buy it and cherish it.
