Description
Hi,
I've decided to sell my rare 1973 Honda CL200 as I'm giving up biking after nearly 50 years in the saddle.
The bike is in original condition and was only manufactured for 1 year and never sold in the UK. This bike was imported into the UK from America and registered in March 2013. It was last MOT'd on the 7th February 2018.
It is registered as an Historic vehicle and as such is now MOT and Tax exempt here in the UK. I have the V5 in my name. I bought the bike locally nearly two years ago, as I liked the style and the fact it was a rare bike with a very low mileage. The current mileage is 4595.
I have enjoyed many rides out in the Yorkshire Dales and took the bike out yesterday and covered 60 trouble free miles.
This is a really attractive little bike, everything works and it runs really well for a small capacity bike. It has an electric starter and kick start and servicing spares are readily available as the engine is based upon the popular CB200 which sold well here in the UK. It always attracts attention when I'm out on it.
There are some age related marks commensurate with it's age, but all the chrome is excellent commensurate with it's low mileage. Overall it is a great little bike in excellent condition and very easy to ride.
It has the original keys which operate the ignition, steering lock and seat lock.
I have an original workshop manual and also a copy on CD, these will go with the bike.
The bike is located in Harden, West Yorkshire and I can WhatsApp a video of the bike running if required.
Collection only please, although I know a really good bike courier who would be able to help with delivery of the bike if required.
Sensible offers considered, but I'm not in a rush to sell the bike.
Thanks for looking.
