WARNING! The AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION is ‘trapped’ in FIRST gear. The car will be sold “As IS” with NO MOT. 2019 I bought this Mercedes CLK 240 Elegance, because of my love of Mercs. It was in exceptional condition inside and out. Comfortable, fast, and elegant is a good description. I bought off a dealer. It had One lady owner since new. Always garaged. In October 2019 the vehicle was put into dry storage, due to lengthy travels & Covid years of lockdown. It lay dormant for five years. In 2024 it was brought back to life, checked over and oil changed. It was used as a daily runabout.
In July 2025, the Automatic Transmission REFUSED to change gear. It ONLY engages FIRST gear, reverse, and park. Thus the vehicle is NONFUNCTIONAL. Therefore it is being sold “AS IS” for whatever purpose. Make an offer.
