A lovely 1987 2cv6. Restored a couple of years ago, this car was extensively rebuilt with a fully refurbished bodyshell (floors, sills, bulkhead, rear end, screen surround etc) and a new, high quality original Citroen type chassis. Repainted in an eye catching blue and white scheme with matching roof. Many new major parts have been fitted including wings, roof, bumpers, and a new set of Michelin tyres. Fully Dynax wax treated throughout.
Mechanically, it is in excellent order, having just been serviced, with all brakes and suspension checked and overhauled during the rebuild. An electronic ignition & new dry resin coil have been fitted as well as numerous other smaller parts you'd expect such as battery, heater tubes, headlight lenses, fuel lines, gaiters, shock absorbers full exhaust system and numerous smaller trim parts.
This 2cv starts on the button, runs and drives beautifully and puts a smile on your face!
Inside, the seats have been refurbished and re-trimmed in a very fetching, high quality blue denim fabric, and also benefits from new headlining, dashboard trim and carpet mat set.
The car comes with an extensive history folder dating right back to the car's early life, with old MOTs and service records that back up the odometer reading. It even features the original bill of sale from the supplying dealer.
