Here for sale is my Alfa Romeo GTV V6 3. 0, 2000 MY. It’s a very nice and quite rare spec, Black, 6 Speed, Aero Kit and Red Leather. It’s a CF2 which is the most desirable of the Busso variants. I bought this car as a non runner, the head gasket had blown. The previous keeper owned the car for 14 years and evidently loved it. It has the most extensive service history you could hope to have, all bills and MOT’s from day one, bookpack and 4 x sets of keys. Details below:

As stated above, I bought the car as a non runner and have spent a fortune getting her back on the road. A quick summary of the work completed in the last 6-7 weeks:
Top end dismantled and removed from car
Both heads sent to an engineering shop for skimming
Valve stem seals all removed and replaced with new
New head gaskets, both banks
New cambelt, tensioner, idlers and waterpump
New aux belt fitted
New Champion spark plugs fitted
Engine oil drained, re-filled with new oil, run, drained and then re-filled with 10w/ 60 Exol Optima Sport, along with new filters
Coolant system flushed and refilled with new red OAT coolant
Cleaned MAF with specialist cleaner
I have also fitted brand new front exhaust pipes (both sides including flexi’s, car already has a stainless rear box), new front coil springs (one was broken), brand new drivers window regulator, powerflex top engine stabiliser, very good second hand front and rear camshaft pulleys x 4 (these crack with age). No expense has been spared in bringing this classic back to her best. She will be MOT’d next week so will come with a full 12 months
In the huge history file there are so many invoices from before my time its impossible to quote them all, but some of the bigger ones include;
MAF, rear calipers £600
Lower wishbones, rear droplinks, service etc £835
A huge 3. 1k bill that includes manifold gaskets, engine stainless steel bolt kit, plenum and coil pack cover red crackle finish, thermostat housing, cambelt service, strip parts to send off for powder coating, replace coolant pipes with silicone, NGK plugs and other things
A bill for 2. 2k that includes Koni Street shock absorbers x 4 and other things
Bill for 3. 1k for a full respray in 2016
Ceramic coating £350 following the respray
And many many more bills. This car has been cherished and my intention was to keep this as a long term investment. But I have many other Alfas, including another GTV V6 so this must unfortunately go. Whilst this car has pretty much everything addressed there are a few areas that will need looking at; the air con doesn’t work, whilst the paint is in excellent condition there are a couple of dings here and there and there is a little bubbling on the left rear arch. So nothing to stop her being used and enjoyed. I will take more photo’s this week, please message me if you’d like some more or anything specific. UPDATE:
The car now has a full years MOT on it, was done on 27th Aug 2025
Couple of things I noticed: The service fuse blew twice. This fuse only powers the instrument cluster and electric windows. This was the first time I have driven her and has never blown before so obviously some minor short somewhere. The drivers window regulator is brand new so could be related. New fuse in and hasn't blown yet, so needs a bit of investigating. The car occasionally puts out a puff of smoke, nothing serious as passed emissions. May just be residue of the blown head gasket and the car could just need a good long run. But thought I would mention it
With this in mind I have decided to reduce the price. This is now a bargain of a car. With the service history this car has (it has EVERY bill for anything ever spent), the fact its a CF2 V6, black with red leather with a 6 speed box and aero kit with belts, head gasket and service done makes this a true bargain
